CGS Leverages Power of Terremark’s Hosting Services to Offer BlueCherry Solutions as Hosted SaaS Option


CGS is utilizing world-class software hosting services from Terremark Worldwide to offer a robust, reliable and secure software-as-a-service (SaaS) delivery option for its softgoods-specific BlueCherry ERP and Leadtec shop floor control software solutions. The on-demand system option promises to benefit CGS clients through lower upfront costs, fast deployments and added data security.

New York, NY, September 10, 2009 — Computer Generated Solutions Inc. (CGS) (http://www.cgsinc.com) announces general availability of a new hosted software-as-a-service (SaaS) option for its award-winning soft goods industry-specific BlueCherry® enterprise management and Leadtec™ shop floor control solutions. In support of the move, CGS has secured Terremark, a leading global provider of IT infrastructure services, to provide world-class hosting services for its SaaS computing platform. The relationship also enables CGS to bundle Terremark’s advanced disaster recovery tools with traditional CGS on-premise client-server implementations.

New York-based jeans and sportswear marketer I.C. Isaacs & Company, US licensee for the Marithé et Francois Girbaud brand, is among the first fashion companies to select the new SaaS delivery for its new BlueCherry enterprise resource planning (ERP) solution. The system implementation encompasses a comprehensive ERP toolset, including financials and EDI retailer connectivity.
